Texas - Purgatory Creek Natural Area

In San Marcos, Texas, Purgatory Creek Natural Area now offers 752 acres for finding outdoor happiness! The area is known for its upland meadows, canyon bluffs and meandering Purgatory Creek, and McKee Foods recently helped in the annexation of more land. With this new acquisition, protection will expand for the Edwards Aquifer – good news for the region’s water supply – and a new greenway trail will increase community access to the park.
